PERSONAL AND PROJECT ORDER PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE

For personal or project orders, the TIFRH Library offers two types of procurement methods for users

Step 1: Send an email to the TIFRH library (tifrhlibrary@tifrh.res.in) with the list of required titles.

Step 2: The library will forward these titles to selected vendors to obtain quotations.

Step 3: Once the quotations are received, they will be shared with the requester for review.

Step 4: If the requester agrees to the quotations, provide confirmation to proceed with the order.

Step 5: Confirm the order via email.

Step 6: When the book(s) are received, the library will coordinate with the requester for collection.

Step 7: Upon receiving the book(s), the requester must settle the payment directly with the vendor. or the librarian (spot payment) or through the contingency grant.

Step 1: The library will provide you with a list of vendor details.

Step 2: Contact the vendor directly and mention the institute's name (TIFR, Hyderabad) to avail of better discounts, as these vendors offer special discounts for our institute.
